Sh.S.S. Gulati laid the foundation of the Company in 1966 with one small Mixing Mill & Hydraulic Press by investing 0.2 lacs only. He was B.Sc & had an experience of 5 years as a Rubber Technician in Goodyear India Ltd. With his efforts his Company is now one of the leading Rubber Components Manufacturing Company, known worldwide. He left for his heavenly abode on the 5th Nov. 1994 and there after his son Sh. Sunil Gulati took over the company.

Belmont is strategically located very near to India’s Capital Delhi which provides easy Global access. The company, with its latest Technology and Manufacturing Techniques in accordance with  ISO/TS 16949-2002 standards has increasingly become one of the leading Mould & Extruded Rubber company in Asia with annual capacity of about 15000 metric tons.
